Jô Soares (78) revelou em seu talk show desta quarta-feira (30) que passou por uma cirurgia cardíaca para tratamento de uma estenose da válvula aórtica. No programa, o apresentador recebeu os médicos Pedro Lemos e Flávio Tarasoutchi que foram os responsáveis pelo procedimento.
“Tive a cara de pau de trazer os dois aqui porque juntamente com outros médicos, como Luiz Ávila, Carlos Jardim, Drauzio Varella, salvaram a minha vida trocando uma válvula sem que eu note. Posso dizer que fiquei com um coração novo”, afirmou.
Ele disse que já sabia que estava com problema na válvula do coração e que esperava aguardar um tempo para passar pela intervenção cirúrgica, mas foi convencido de que o problema era mais sério do que ele imaginava.
“No começo, era apenas um sopro no coração. Outros médicos me tranquilizavam, dizendo que era uma coisa muito pequena, mas esse ‘muito pequena’ foi crescendo. Chegou num ponto que o doutor falou, ‘vamos ter que trocar essa válvula’. Eu fali, ‘vamos programar para o ano que vem'”, lembrou. “Ele falou, ‘tem que ser logo’. Perguntei, se não fizer logo, o que pode acontecer? Morte súbita”, disse.
Bem-humorado, o apresentador da Globo falou que assustou o médico Tarasoutchi quando disse “que bom” ao ter conhecimento do problema: “De todas as mortes, a melhor é a súbita – porque você não toma conhecimento dela. Mas é claro que o melhor é não tê-la”.
Segundo o médico Pedro Lemos, Jô enfrentou o problema cardíaco porque sua válvula aórtica não se abria adequadamente: “A aórtica precisa se abrir para o sangue passar. Às vezes acontece dela não ficar totalmente aberta. Até chegar num ponto que ela abre muito pouco. Aí fica perigoso. Foi o que aconteceu”.
O apresentador disse que sentiu uma melhora significativa após a cirurgia. “O meu fôlego mudou instantaneamente depois do procedimento. Continuo fazendo bicicleta, remo e, finalmente, voltei a andar na esteira, porque antes eu ficava dois minutos e parava”, falou.
O principal sintoma do problema, disse o especialista, é o cansaço. “A pessoa pode ter falta de ar, tosse seca e começar a ter concomitantemente tontura, dor no peito e até desmaios”, explicou Tarasoutchi. Lemos ainda disse que usou uma técnica pouco invasiva na cirurgia de Jô. “A gente faz tudo com raios-X, não mexemos no coração, é tudo como se fosse por controle remoto”.
O apresentador contou foi colocado um marca-passo. “Fiquei no hospital só quatro dias por excesso de segurança e ainda me sapecaram um marca-passo por precaução”, declarou.
Doação
No programa, Jô Soares revelou que o susto o fez doar uma válvula para quem passa por um problema cardíaco semelhante ao que ele enfrentou. “Fiquei tão emocionado com esses dois doutores”, disse.
“Preciso lhe dizer, Jô, você salvou uma vida por causa da sua doação. Ele [paciente que recebeu a doação] está bem. O alívio é imediato”, contou o médico
O “Programa de Jô”, que estreia a nova temporada no dia 28 de março, vai acabar no final deste ano. De acordo com o site Notícias da TV, a decisão foi anunciada na última quinta-feira (18) em reunião da cúpula da Globo com diretores da área artística e autores de novelas.
Ao UOL, a comunicação da Globo confirmou a informação e disse que desde 2015 ficou combinado que a atração ficaria no ar até dezembro de 2016. “Neste ano, o programa celebra 16 anos na Globo e, por essas e outras, será de comemorações pela despedida de alguém tão especial para a história da televisão brasileira”, informou o comunicado.
Também à reportagem, Jô afirmou que foi um acerto dos dois lados, feito na última renovação de contrato, que aconteceu em 2014. “Farei esta última temporada com muito carinho e prestando homenagens a alguns convidados”, ressaltou.
Ainda de acordo com o Notícias da TV, o talk show de Marcelo Adnet, que vai estrear no segundo semestre, ocuparia o lugar de Jô, mas a Globo nega: “Para esclarecimento: o novo programa do Marcelo Adnet não entrará na faixa horária hoje ocupada pelo ‘Programa do Jô'”.
O piloto da nova atração de Adnet já foi gravado. Segundo o colunista do UOLFlavio Ricco, a equipe do talk show já está sendo montada e poderá se chamar “ADNight” ou aportuguesado “ADNaite”. Um piloto do programa já foi gravado e teve como convidado Mateus Solano.
