247 – Em evento realizado pelo Instituto Lula, nesta segunda-feira (5), que contou com a presença do vice-presidente da Bolívia, Alvaro Linera, o ex-presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva disse que “o PT não soube transformar em grandeza de política nacional aquilo que fizemos aqui no Brasil”.
“Faço o mea culpa. O PT não soube transformar em grandeza de política internacional aquilo que fizemos aqui no Brasil. O PT poderia ter feito muito mais. Nós ficamos só no Foro de São Paulo e cada vez com menos gente importante comparecendo. Temos que criar um instrumento na América Latina para unificar as forças de esquerda”, disse.
Segundo Lula, existe uma onda conservadora que põe em risco os governos de esquerda que chegaram ao poder nas últimas duas décadas em vários países importantes da América Latina como Brasil, Argentina, Venezuela e Equador.
“Estou percebendo que há um avanço das forças conservadoras. Há mais agressividade, mais determinação para que este ciclo progressista deixe de existir. As coisas estão ficando mais agressivas, mais delicadas”, disse Lula.
