Diante do agravamento da crise política por que passa o governo da presidente Dilma Rousseff, parlamentares da oposição defenderam nesta quinta-feira (6) a convocação de novas eleições como uma solução para recuperar a estabilidade política e econômica do país. Para eles, a pressão popular pode ser capaz de levar a uma renúncia de Dilma e do vice-presidente Michel Temer.
“O PSDB continua na defesa da soberania do voto popular, da necessidade de encontrar na nação e no nosso povo, através da legitimidade do voto, a escolha de um novo governo para que possamos tirar o país da crise”, afirmou o líder do PSDB no Senado, Cássio Cunha Lima (PB).
A oposição aposta em duas possíveis hipóteses que podem levar ao fim do governo Dilma. Uma delas seria a cassação da chapa Dilma-Temer pelo TSE (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral), que analisa abusos durante as eleições de 2014, e a outra seria uma forte pressão social pela renúncia da dupla. Se o primeiro caso se confirmar, o tribunal teria que convocar novas eleições em três meses.
Entre os que apostam nesta saída, pelo TSE, está a ala do PSDB ligada ao senador Aécio Neves (MG), que acredita que ele poderia vencer o novo pleito graças ao recall do ano passado. O mineiro também seria beneficiado em caso de renúncia.
