O deputado estadual Raoni Mendes (DEM) disse na noite desta terça-feira, 12, que o prefeito de João Pessoa, Luciano Cartaxo (PSD) não tem realizado obras estruturantes na cidade, “eu caminhava hoje com a minha mãe pela cidade e ela me dizia que o prefeito está maquiando a cidade, mas não te feito uma gestão de verdade e é isto que eu tenho dito há muito tempo”, afirmou.
Em entrevista ao programa Master News, da TV Master, o parlamentar afirmou que a execução orçamentária do município é muito ruim e não deveria ser dessa forma, “não se pode investir mais em saúde, que em educação e, ainda assim, não dar conta das necessidades das pessoas”, pontuou.
Questionado sobre o trabalho na Assembleia Legislativa da Paraíba, ele disse que está trabalhando com sua assessoria para apresentar projeto de lei no retorno do recesso parlamentar, mas acrescentou que está familiarizado coma defesa dos interesses do povo e não mudará sua postura. “Quero me resguardar para a estréia em plenário, no retorno do recesso parlamentar”, finalizou.
